ABOUT ARTS ALIVE
A detail from High Street Stitch. Created by over 700 members of the community between 2004 and 2007.
Arts Alive works creatively with local people, individuals, schools and groups. We have an established reputation for our work with children and young people. We work with all ages and abilities on collaborative community art projects - indoors and out.
Arts Alive works with over 40 professional artists, craftspeople, performers, writers and musicians. We run artist-led projects and activities for schools, groups, events and festivals. Our artists have a wide range of skills and experience in community, education and health settings. Our Forest School work is run by qualified leaders. We provide training for artists, and community/education professionals, on creative development and the arts.
Arts Alive is an independent arts charity. We support our running costs through grants and fundraising. Our studio provides an ideal setting for our programme of workshops, classes and events. It is available to hire.
