SUNDAY ART GROUP

From Sunday January 20     2.00pm - 4.00pm

Weekly fee to cover costs of building £3

This weekly group which began in December 2007 is an opportunity for anyone to come along to the Arts Alive building and work on their own creative projects. It offers a chance to work and exchange ideas with others interested in creativity.

‘IN THIS PLACE’

We are currently running art projects and workshops celebrating and exploring our built and natural environment.  This term we plan a family Big Draw event, School Holiday workshops for children, a family Tree Dressing workshop in early December.  We are also creating artwork for display in the Outpatient’s Department of Nevill Hall Hospital.  A 3 week art course with Tessa Waite entitled ‘In This Place’ will run on Wednesday 7, 14 and 21 November from 10am to 2pm.

‘Reggio Tiddlers’, our creative group for pre-school children, will not run this term.  Liz, Lucienne and the team are applying for funding to enable us to carry on in the future.  Thank you to all parents and children who have come along and supported the group.
